The iCAUR V23 is where adventure meets electric. Bold in design, capable off the beaten track, and packed with technology, the V23 is one of the most exciting new electric SUVs to arrive in South Africa. Available exclusively through authorised iCAUR dealers including SMH Group, it is a vehicle built for drivers who want more from every journey.
The V23 draws on classic off-road design language to create something genuinely distinctive in the modern SUV market. Squared-off proportions, a high roofline, short overhangs, and wheels pushed firmly to the corners are not merely aesthetic decisions — they are functional design choices that deliver outstanding approach and departure angles and 210 mm of ground clearance. Whether it turns heads in the city or handles challenging terrain on a weekend escape, the V23 makes an impression.
Two configurations are available. The rear-wheel-drive 2WD model uses a single electric motor producing 100 kW and 180 Nm of torque, paired with a 59.93 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery for up to 360 km of real-world range. The intelligent all-wheel-drive model adds a second motor for a combined output of 155 kW and uses a larger 82 kWh battery pack. The 2WD charges from 30% to 80% in around 30 minutes via DC fast charger; the AWD achieves the same state of charge in approximately 40 minutes.
Inside, the V23 is thoughtfully specified. A 15.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while electronically adjustable front seats with leather upholstery, a seven-speaker audio system, LED headlamps, and a retro-inspired rotary control centre console create a cabin that is both modern and characterful. Six airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, electronic stability control, traction control, and a full suite of ADAS driver assistance features are all included as standard.
The V23 is uniquely customisable. Its modular exterior structure allows owners to personalise body panels, lighting, and accessories without requiring specialist tools, enabling you to create a vehicle that is as individual as your adventures.
