The iCAUR 03T is a statement of intent. Wider, sportier, and more technically sophisticated than a standard electric SUV, the 03T has been engineered to combine high-performance electric mobility with the kind of everyday usability South African drivers demand. The 03T's wide-body styling is immediately arresting. Flared wheel arches, raised suspension, and a purposeful stance give it a visual presence few electric vehicles can match. Ground clearance of 225 mm places it firmly in adventure-SUV territory, while its advanced all-aluminium multi-chamber cage body increases torsional rigidity by 30% over traditional steel structures. This is achieved through a combination of MIG arc welding, self-piercing riveting, flow-drill screw fastening, and laser deep fusion welding, using 6-series aviation-grade aluminium selected for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.
The AWD 03T is powered by a dual-motor system producing a combined 205 kW and 385 Nm of torque, drawing from a 70 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The 2WD variant uses a rear-mounted electric motor fed by a 66 kWh battery, offering an efficient and capable driving experience for everyday use and longer journeys alike.
The 03T cabin places technology front and centre. A 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, accompanied by 12 Infinity surround-sound speakers, a 50 W wireless phone charger, and a full-length panoramic sunroof. Electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functionality are standard, as is a 540-degree transparent chassis camera system providing a complete view of the vehicle's surroundings in any situation.
The 03T is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite across all variants: forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, lane departure prevention, adaptive cruise control, six airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, ABS, traction control, and electronic stability control. The 03T is built not only to perform, but to protect everyone on board.
