The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is the most powerful Alfa Romeo road car ever, and proudly bears the four-leaf clover, the quadrifoglio, as a symbol of Italian racing passion.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio’s engine is a marvel of engineering developed in collaboration with Ferrari. This aluminium-block 2.9-litre 90-degree bi-turbo engine boasts staggering performance for its lightweight. Its 375 kW of power is available in a broad powerband between 2500 and 5000 RPM. It’s also capable of excellent fuel consumption thanks to the ability to switch off up to half its cylinders, and a Start&Stop system that further reduces fuel consumption and emissions in traffic.
The rear wheels are driven through a torque-vectoring differential that can provide maximum traction and superior handling by dynamically adjusting the amount of torque delivered to each wheel. To ensure that power is transmitted most efficiently from the engine, an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission is used.
One of the most exciting innovations on the Giulia Quadrifoglio is the Active Aero front splitter. At low speed, the carbon fibre splitter is raised and out of the way. But when the car travels at over 100 km/h, the splitter drops down to increase front downforce and improve handling.
To keep the Giulia Quadrifoglio’s weight down, lightweight materials are used throughout, such as aluminium for the fenders and doors, and carbon fibre for the bonnet and roof.
To ensure driver safety, the Giulia Quadrifoglio is equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems such as Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, and more.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio’s infotainment system is controlled by a rotary knob on the centre console. There are also separate steering wheel controls for important functions, such as controlling the volume of the Harman Kardon 900 W 14-speaker sound system.
